Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I partner directly with patients only.  This means I am not in a contractual relationship with nor under the control of insurance companies and am considered out-of-network.  Keeping the patients’ interests and well-being as my top priority gives me freedom to provide the highest quality treatments possible towards optimal outcomes.  My goal is to achieve your goals in as few visits as possible while educating and empowering you with better awareness towards prevention of a recurrence of your symptoms.  While healthcare is an investment in your health, you–the patient–should always be in control of how to get the best outcomes and the most value for your healthcare choices.

What is the cost of a session?

The 90-minute Initial Evaluation session costs $180 and consists of a thorough history for understanding your health, lifestyle, current symptoms and goals;  a full-body movement and strength assessment; and hands-on Myofascial Release (MFR) assessment and treatment; along with lifestyle modifications and movement activities directed towards your goals.  It is important to me to provide longer sessions consisting of hands-on treatment that appreciates not only the whole body but the whole person. Follow-up sessions can be shorter and cost-adjusted accordingly.

What do I wear?

MFR is performed on bare skin, so you should wear or bring clothing loose enough to move easily in and maneuver around such as elastic gym shorts and a tank top.  Also, please refrain from applying body lotion on treatment day to ensure good traction and avoid sliding on the skin.
